This policy describes how the Books Zoomer app by Sunriserain processes data while you read, store, and analyze books with AI.
Data we process
- Account — email, name, avatar, sign-in provider identifier, sessions, and service authorization data. The app can be used anonymously.
- Books and documents — uploaded files, covers, chapters, structure, images, analysis and translation results, and library settings.
- Diagnostics — error reports, technical logs, and limited failure context. Screen recordings, voice comments, and attachments are sent only after an explicit user action.
How we use data
Data is used to import and read material, sync your library, create distillations, analyses, and translations, authenticate users, keep the service secure, provide support, and fix errors.
AI and service providers
Before the first AI request, Books Zoomer names the third-party recipient and asks for separate consent. Only after consent, selected book or chapter text, your instruction, and processing settings pass through Sunriserain servers to DeepSeek for analysis, distillation, editing, or translation. Under the DeepSeek Open Platform Terms, de-identified inputs and outputs may be used to a minimal extent to provide, maintain, develop, or improve the service. You can revoke consent in the menu; reading and library features continue to work. Hosting, database, authentication, and Sentry diagnostic services may also process data. We do not sell personal data.
Deletion
A signed-in user can open the main menu, tap Delete Account, and confirm. Additional instructions are available on the Books Zoomer data deletion page.
Children
Books Zoomer is not intended for children under 13.
